We had seen some info about a large Taj Mahal type building in the middle of South Dakota being "made" out of corn. Well, after doing some more research we learned that in the city of Mitchell, the locals had an annual custom of decorating the outside of their civic center with 275,000 ears of corn. Each year they have a different design for their decorations and you could see pictures of all of them inside. Neato!
